I&J Law offers you clarity and transparency regarding our fee structures.
First Consultation
We recognise the significance of our first consultation, which may impact you for years to come. For the first consultation, I&J Law offers new clients a fixed fee for a period of up to one and a half hours. Following the first consultation, we will be better able to assess whether your fees will be time-based or follow a fixed fee structure as outlined below.
Fixed Fee Structure
Where our services are relatively well defined and predictable in terms of the time and work required for completion, we typically quote a fixed fee within a set range. A fixed fee structure will mostly be applied when assisting with the following services:
- Wills
- Powers of Attorney
- Enduring Guardianships
- Probate
- Letters of Administation
- Some Consent Orders
- Prenuptial agreements
- Cohabitation agreements
Disbursements
Depending on your legal matter, there may be external costs. Any such costs will be identified and discussed with you. These may include court filing fees, NSW land registry service fees, search fees, barristers' fees, valuers' fees and other third-party fees.
